Butterscotch Brownies

- Mix 1/2 cup flour and 3 tbsp carob powder
- Melt 1/4 cup pot butter
- Stir in 1 cup brown sugar
- Cool ingredients then beat in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla
- resift it with 1 teaspoon double-acting baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Stir these ingredients into pot butter mixture.
- Add 1 cup nuts or 3/4 cup coconut
- Pour batter into 9×9 inch pan.
- Bake at 250 for 40 mins.
