A Victoria man was released on bail Friday after being arrested Thursday and charged
with trafficking of marijuana.
Ted Smith, 31, appeared in a Victoria court room after being held in cells overnight.
The court room was packed with Smith’s supporters. One of them, Ted Delhi, said outside
the court that he believes Smith is a Good Samaritan. “He’s no harm to society in any way.”
Smith was released on $1,000 cash bail and on the condition he not sell or distribute
marijuana. He returns to court Mar. 28.
