Dear Ms. Christofferson:
Thank you for your e-mail of April 9, 2003. I apologize that it has taken me some time
to reply.
Please note that, according to the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations
(MMAR), an authorization can only be granted to an individual for personal use,
and a licensed grower my only grow for one person at a time. Therefore, Health
Canada cannot provide the International Hempology 101 Society a license t
distribute under section 56 or under the MMAR. In order to obtain a license from
Health Canada, you must be designated by someone who has an Authorization to
Possess to be their personal grower.
With reference to a meeting with representatives of the City of Victoria, I can
confirmt hat we have finalized a date for our meeting, June 17, 2003.
