Marijuana Stays Month In Blood.

This new law would give police “the power to force drivers suspected of drug use to submit” to blood tests.
Not stated in this article is the fact that under the proposed law, any amount of illegal substances in the blood, no matter how small, will lead to charges. A marijuana buzz lasts a maximum of two hours but evidence of marijuana use remains in the blood for a minimum of 30 days. This means that police will soon be charging people with impaired driving because of a joint they smoked a month earlier.
