Team 420 Frisbee Golf!

TEAM 420 Frisbee Golf Tournament

Just a friendly reminder that the first TEAM 420 frisbee golf tournament will tee off in a week on Sunday, September 27th, at 12.00 noon.  We are meeting at the Aylard Farm parking lot and playing in the field bordering the lot.  We will have maps available marking out the course and each team will receive a brief orientation at signup.

Signup will take place at the event, with a fee of $4.20 per pair.  The entry fee covers a few of our expense and every participant will receive both a TEAM 420 button and sticker.

Teams of two can also pre-register by emailing your information to HEMPO101@gmail.com.  Registration fees will be collected at the event, though we encourage pre-registration so that we can estimate the number of participants planning to attend and plan accordingly.

The teams will all take a break at 4.20 to have a communal smoke in and a bit of a snack. Following the tournament, there will be a 420 organizational meeting for those people who are interested in becoming more involved with the TEAM 420 project.

Unfortunately there is no bus service directly to the Park on Sundays. For those of you who need to take transit, we have worked out a route for you. Board the #61 Sooke bus downtown- this bus leaves from Government and Superior at 9:02, 10:14, 11:26 and 12:40- and ride to the stop at Sooke Road and 17 Mile House. From there, one of our lovely volunteers will meet the bus to shuttle the Frisbee Golfers to the event. The bus schedule can be found at:

A quick note for the TEAM 420 Frisbee golf tournament-  The tee off of Noon is a soft start time.  We will be accepting registrations for the tournament throughout the afternoon and teams will be able to complete the course multiple times, with only the first score going to the tournament.

For those of you rushing to get there, don’t worry.  We’re going to make sure everyone gets a shot at the course.

The inaugural TEAM 420 Frisbee Golf tournament is going to be a great event!  I can’t wait to see all the TEAM 420 supporters get out to have some fun and frisbee in one of the most beautiful parks in the country!
