REDLANDS TO CONSIDER BAN ON MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES
Redlands may join a growing group of cities that have moved to ban medical marijuana dispensaries.
The Planning Commission will consider an ordinance to ban the dispensaries on Tuesday.
Palm Desert, Grand Terrace and San Jacinto banned dispensaries earlier this year; La Quinta is expected to approve a ban this month.
Community Development Director Jeff Shaw said Redlands has no medical marijuana dispensaries.
A ban would need final approval by the City Council.
